Meet the RP3 Rowing Team
Most people are surprised when they hear RP3 Rowing is a Dutch brand.
The driving force behind RP3 Rowing is Jan Lammers. Together with Annet Lammers, the married couple is running the company from Haaksbergen, a small town in the Eastern part of The Netherlands, near the German border.
Jan is involved with RP3 since 1991 when he was working with Cas Rekers – the inventor of the RowPerfect, later RP3, to produce the Indoor Rowing Machines. When Cas passed away in 2010, Jan & Annet took over the company. In the next years until now, Jan and his team did build new version of the original dynamic indoor rowing machine: the well known RP3 Model S stainless steel a.k.a “Silver”, focussing on improve the quality and durability.
Jan developed a new RP3 Model T – improved and enhanched, with same flywheel and thus similar data output, which was introduced in 2019.
Next to that, RP3 Rowing developed the software platform, with the RP3 Monitor (App on smartphone and tablet) and the RP3 Portal, next to the RP3 Studio solution, with group training and e-Racing capability.
