Simon Van Dorp

Simon van Dorp is one of the Netherlands’ top scullers and a 2024 Olympic bronze medalist in the men’s single sculls. He previously rowed in the Dutch eight at Tokyo 2020 and medaled at multiple World Championships. While at the University of Washington, he helped lead the team to national titles in the IRA’s. He then set the RP3 world record with a 5:25 2k. Simon Van Dorp uses the RP3 in training due to the KNRB 4 year partnership to fine-tune his stroke and data tracking. His shift from the eight to single sculls has made him a standout athlete in both disciplines and continues to row heading into the next Olympiad.

Nanna Vigild

Nanna Vigild transitioned to rowing from boxing and weightlifting and quickly became a key part of Denmark’s women’s eight. She was part of the qualifying crew qualify for Paris 2024, where they reached the A final. Nanna Vigild brings a strong physical background to the sport and complements it with a technical approach developed in part through RP3 training, which she uses to build rhythm and efficiency off the water. Balancing her university studies with international competition, she represents a new generation of athletes coming into rowing through non-traditional routes and making an impact on the world stage.

Phillip Doyle

Philip Doyle is an Irish rower and doctor who began rowing in 2014 and progressed quickly to the international level. He won silver in the men’s double sculls at the 2019 World Championships and took bronze at the 2024 Paris Olympics with Daire Lynch. Phillip Doyle combines on-water training with RP3 work to manage technique and output efficiently, particularly during periods when he balances rowing with medical responsibilities. Known for his calm under pressure and professional focus, he’s become one of Ireland’s most consistent performers on the senior circuit and a strong advocate for dual-career athletes.

Esther Briz

Esther Briz is a Spanish rower with success across both flatwater and coastal formats. A former junior world and European champion in the single sculls, she’s also a two-time beach sprint world champion. At the 2024 Paris Olympics, she finished seventh in the women’s pair with Aina Cid. A Stanford graduate in engineering, Briz uses the RP3 in training to work on power application and movement timing skills especially important in her crossover between boat classes. Her versatility and consistency have made her a core member of Spain’s senior squad and a leader in both coastal and Olympic disciplines. She joined the RP3 team in early April.

Thomas Digby

Tom Digby is a British Olympic and world champion in the men’s eight. Tom studied and rowed at Yale University, where he won multiple national titles and was a three-time IRA champion. He’s represented Great Britain since junior level and has become a mainstay in the senior squad. Tom Digby uses the RP3 as part of his regular training routine and currently in particular to focus on rehab to his hip. His goal is to return to the GB national squad for the LA Olympics in 2028.
